雪梨海港大橋2009年一月開始通行費將不收現金,而改為用e-tag付費,以後要開車過橋的背包客可要特別注意了。
原文內容如下:

The New South Wales Government says the Sydney Harbour Bridge will become a fully cashless motorway by January next year.

Four lanes of the bridge converted to e-tag only in June.

By the end of this month, there will be only three toll booths remaining; one at Milsons Point and two at the Bradfield Plaza.

The Harbour Tunnel was made cashless last year.

NSW Roads Minister Michael Daley says about 90 per cent of toll payments during the morning peak are now made electronically.

Mr Daley says converting the bridge will ease traffic congestion, and there will be flexible arrangements for motorists without e-tags.

"You can go to any RTA motor registry and purchase a casual e-tag, you can rent e-tags," he said.

"We're making it easier for people to top up their accounts. At the moment, you can top up your e-tag using a credit card or a debit card, and in December we'll be making cash payments and b-pay payments available for commuters as well."
